Dear Parents,

I am sure you are enjoying the summer. Whether you are on vacation or running with your kids’ summer activities, I’d like to call your attention for the following matters.

1.Registration Reminder –

If you haven’t register for the next school year, it’s time to do it NOW. Please click this Registration Link and follow the instructions on the page to register.  $30 family registration fee is waived if registration is completed by 7/31.

2.New class offering –

Several new classes are offered for the new school year.

Good news is a more advanced class has been added to the curriculum. Grade 8 also called SAT-HSK preparation class is available. Upon finishing the class students are expected to be ready for HSK Elementary-Intermediate tests or SAT subject test in Chinese.  

CSL-4 (Chinese as a Second Language – 4) is a new class added to the CSL track to bring a new level to CSL students. The class will further develop students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.

A new culture class Theater Play has been added to the culture class list. HXCT former principle Dr. Sun will be the lead teacher for the class. Students will be working together writing theatre play scripts themselves and practice to perform on stage.

3.Yearbook picture -

We are preparing our 5 year school yearbook. There will be pictures including you and your children. Please do let us know that you don’t want pictures having you and your children included in the yearbook. The pictures will be selected from our online Albums. 

The intention of the 5 year school yearbook is to mark a significant milestone of  HXCT. The intended recipients are student families, teachers, staff, and sponsors.

At last, while you are enjoying the summer sunshine, do keep this in mind that there is summer homework assigned by the teacher. Students are expected to complete the summer homework.  Enjoy the summer and see you in September!
