一年级

Shelly Yong

杨黄静婷从2017年10月开始任教于华夏中文学校 康州分校一年级老师。 杨老师毕业于杨百翰大学夏威夷分校拥有英语教学 的学士学位。自1998年毕业后杨老师便回到台湾 从事英语教学工作，累积了十余年的丰富教学经 验。 2007年结婚搬到美国康州，2008年曾任教于 Chinese Language School of Fairfield County in Stamford 三年级老师。

​Shelly Yong was born in Taiwan. She received her bachelor’s degree in TESOL (Teaching English as a Second Language) from Brigham Young University Hawaii. After graduation she went back to Taiwan and taught English for 10 years. In 2007, she got married and settled down in Connecticut. In 2008 she became a third-grade Chinese teacher at CLSFC (Chinese Language School of Fairfield County in Stamford Connecticut). In 2017, Shelly started teaching Chinese at Hua Xia Chinese School Connecticut.

Yaqing Wang

王亚晴老师来自江苏南通，本科学历，主修小语教育及汉语言文学专业。曾在南通、深圳从事小学语文教学及班主任工作，拥有多年一线教学经验。加入华夏中文学校近十年，积累了丰富的海外中文教学经验。王老师的两位女儿， Isabella 和 Carolyn 也是多年在中文学校负责舞蹈课的教导， 是老师团队里不可缺少的一部分。
王老师热爱教育、亲和耐心，善于根据孩子的年龄、性格和学习基础因材施教。课堂注重激发学习兴趣，培养阅读习惯、语言表达和写作能力，让孩子在轻松愉快的氛围中学习中文、感受中华文化之美。
她始终相信：让孩子喜欢中文、愿意表达，是最好的教育。

Yaqing Wang is originally from Nantong, Jiangsu, China. She holds a bachelor’s degree with a focus on Primary Education and Chinese Language and Literature. Before moving overseas, she taught Chinese language at elementary schools and served as a homeroom teacher in Nantong and Shenzhen, gaining many years of hands-on teaching experience. She has been with Huaxia Chinese School for nearly ten years, where she has developed extensive experience in teaching Chinese to students in an overseas learning environment.  Her two daughters also taught the dance class for many years, have been an important piece of the teaching staff.
Ms. Wang is passionate about education and is known for her warm, patient, and approachable teaching style. She adapts her instruction to each child’s age, personality, and learning background. In her classroom, she focuses on fostering students’ interest in learning, developing strong reading habits, and strengthening their language expression and writing skills. She strives to create a relaxed and enjoyable learning environment where children can learn Chinese with confidence while discovering the beauty of Chinese language and culture.
She firmly believes that the best education begins with helping children enjoy learning Chinese and feel confident and willing to express themselves.

五年级

Yanhong Wang

王晏虹老师目前担任华夏中文学校康州分校学前班 的老师。 王晏虹老师，天津大学基本建设管理工程专业本 科，中国人民大学投资经济专业硕士，在天津高校 从事教师工作3年，深圳上市公司投资部经理8 年，在多伦多从事会计工作多年。现在康州APEX International Education Partners 工作，致力于帮助中 国留学生申请美国的私立中小学校。

Yanhong Wang is the teacher for Kindergarten in HuaXia Chinese School Connecticut. Yanhong has a bachelor’s degree in Management Engineering from Tianjin University and a master’s degree in Investment Economics from RenMin University of China. She was a college teacher in Tianjin for 3 years and the manager of the investment department of a listed company in Shenzhen for 8 years. She worked in accounting in Toronto for several years and currently works at APEX International Education Partners to help Chinese students apply to private schools in the US.

舞蹈班

Carolyn Ouyang

欧阳维菡 是 Brookfield High School 的高年级学生。她从小便加入康涅狄格州华夏中文学校，并在整个求学过程中一直积极参与学校的各项活动。

维菡也是一名热爱舞蹈的学生，自幼接受专业且系统的舞蹈训练。最近，她凭借出色的舞蹈才能、严格的自律以及长期的努力与坚持，成功入选 美国国家舞蹈队，这是对她多年付出与舞蹈成就的肯定。

进入高中以来，维菡一直积极参与华夏中文学校的志愿服务。多年来，她担任舞蹈班助教，协助老师指导和帮助年幼的学生。自 2025 年起，她进一步承担起舞蹈班主要授课教师的职责，负责课程教学，并在教学过程中投入了更多的时间和精力，耐心指导和鼓励年轻学生。

通过多年来持续不断的参与和服务，维菡展现了出色的领导能力、责任感和奉献精神。她不仅积极参与学校社区，也以自己的行动服务和帮助他人，为学校社区作出了真诚而有意义的贡献

Carolyn is a senior at Brookfield High School. She joined HuaXia Chinese School of Connecticut at a young age and has remained actively involved in the school throughout her education. Carolyn is also a dedicated dancer who has trained extensively from a young age. Most recently, she was selected as a member of the Team USA  Dance Team, an achievement that reflects her talent, discipline, and commitment to dance.
Since starting high school, Carolyn has actively participated in volunteer activities at HuaXia Chinese School. She has supported the dance program as an assistant teacher for many years and, since 2025, has served as the primary instructor for the dance class. In this role, she has taken on significant responsibility for teaching and mentoring younger students.
Through her continued involvement, Carolyn has demonstrated strong leadership, dedication, and a genuine commitment to serving and contributing to her school community.

Lifen Wu

吴立芬老师目前担任华夏中文学校康州分校二年级的老师。 吴立芬，浙江嘉兴人，南京大学高分子化学学士和硕士，衣阿 华州立大学有机化学硕士。在康州从事药物研发相关工作。 自2000年搬到康州以后，一直热心参与中文学校的建设和华 人社区的活动。自2016年起在中文学校做义工和代课老师。 出国前曾在南京化工大学任职一年多。

Life Wu is the teacher for second grade in huaxia Chinese school Connecticut. Lifen has a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Nanjing University and a master’s degree from Iowa State University. She was a teacher in Nanjing Tech University before coming to the US. She is working at R&D in the pharmaceutical industry. She has been a volunteer and substitute teacher in Chinese school since 2016. Her two sons both graduated from Chinese school with excellent academic achievements.

Alicia Xue

薛原于2024年4月成为华夏中文学校康州分校的四年级老师。她原籍中国武汉，拥有工商管理硕士学位，在市场营销策划和执行方面拥有超过10年的经验。

薛老师迷恋中国文化，尤其对传统文化抱有浓厚的兴趣，喜欢阅读相关书籍。她喜欢向孩子们介绍国学典故，希望让孩子们了解到汉语和中文博大精深，充满趣味。

Alicia Xue became a 4th-grade teacher at HXCT in April 2024. Originally from Wuhan, China, she holds an MBA in Marketing and has over 10 years of experience in marketing planning and execution within the manufacturing industry.

Mrs. Xue holds a deep fascination for Chinese culture, especially its traditional aspects, and delights in reading books on the subject. She is enthusiastic about introducing children to the captivating and enjoyable realm of learning the Chinese language and characters.

六年级

Yinglai Qi

戚英来自2018年9月起担任华夏中文学校康州分校副校长，自2019年9月起担任校长。

他出生于江苏省常州市，先后在上海、深圳和北京学习、生活和工作过。2014年全家迁居美国康州，目前育有一儿一女。

戚英来拥有复旦大学经济学学士学位，纽约大学工商管理硕士学位(MBA)，并且是特许金融分析师(CFA)。

Yinglai Qi joined HXCT as Vice Principal in Sep 2018 and has been elected as Principal since Sep 2019. He was born in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province and went to college in Shanghai. Then he worked and lived in Shenzhen, Beijing and Shanghai before he came to Connecticut in US in 2014 with his family. He has a son and a daughter.

Yinglai Qi has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Fudan University and a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from New York University. He is a CFA charter holder.
